Key Verse: Revelation 21:4 “And God will wife away every tear from their eyes; there will shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” In this life death, sorrow, crying, and pain are completely inevitable. Everyone who lives will experience these things. Truthfully we will experience pain, sorrow, and crying far more than we would like. Just because one becomes a Christian does not make one immune to the sorrows we face in this world. In John’s vision that is recorded in Revelation John saw a truly glorious day. He saw a day where God wiped away every tear from everyone’s eyes. This is the day where everything will be as it was supposed to be before man’s fall into sin int he garden. There will be no more death of any kind. No parent will ever have to experience the death of a child, no one will have to experience the heartbreak of divorce and marital unfaithfulness. No one will experience the exhaustion of daily spiritual warfare. No one will experience the pain of broken bones, and a dying a body. Everything will be made right. God will literally reach and wipe our tears from our face with His comforting hand, and will give us eternal joy. You may be reading this today and you may be walking through the shadow of death. You may have lost a battle today to the enemy as you fell into sin. You may have a prodigal child who has drifted from God. Whoever you are, you are dreadfully sad, and discouraged. Tears may be running down your face, and you may be deep in depression. Friend if that is you, I want to remind you of the glorious day that awaits believers, it is a day when God will wipe away our tears, and everything will be exactly as He desires it to be! I long for that glorious day! Let this encourage you! The sufferings we face in this life will end! They will end when we look our Heavenly Father in the face and He wipes away our tears!!
