Key Verse: Colossians 3:23 

“And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not to me.” 

Yesterday during our sermon we learned that we have to live happily where God has placed us, and that we are to work where God places us. Well here it is Monday morning the day nearly everyone dreads! It means that its time to get up and get to work. I believe there is one thing we can remind ourselves of that will help us view our work differently and give us better attitudes. It is the the truth of Colossians 3:23. Here we are reminded that whatever we do, we are to do it with all of our heart. This means we are to give all of our effort in whatever we are doing. Whatever type of work you are doing today, remember that God has placed you there, and that by being the best worker you can be, by doing the best possible job you can do, you are rightly representing him to your boss and coworkers. 

So as you go to work this morning go with a different attitude. Go with an attitude of excitement and a commitment to work not just to get a paycheck, but to represent Jesus at your place of employment! God will honor this type of commitment and attitude!
